Called H&M Plumbing after getting the run around from a private contractor (that was recommended to us on the Nextdoor app). Chris stopped by the same day we called. He quickly figured out the problem with our leaky shower head. While we had him, we asked if he'd be willing to check-out two other issues. He happily agreed to look at our other leaky shower head and issues with our dishwasher backing up. Chris was pleasant, enthusiastic and knew what he was doing. Not only was the customer service amazing, we were beyond pleased with their pricing! Anchorage Plumbing and Heating quoted us a hourly rate of $135 + parts -- with the first hours worth having to be paid, even if it's was a 20 min. job. I updated my neighbors on the Nextdoor app to let them know who we used and how pleased we were.

We had a main sewer problem in our home possibly complicated due to a current fiber optic company box and cable install. This company is amazing, professional, knowledgeable and polite. Their quick work to solve issues made my life easier. They have our business for life.

I highly recommend calling these guys up first before seeking out any other company for your plumbing needs. Long story short, I had a water leak happening in the kitchen that proved to be a pretty big deal. I contacted Anchorage Plumbing and they sent over a grumpy guy who couldn't be bothered to do half the work that H&M did. Turns out the water line to my fridge was sourced from somewhere besides underneath the sink along with the faucet and dishwasher. Anchorage's solution was to install a valve where the leak happened and have me call them back after the restoration company went through and possibly dig up the subfloor. Not quite content with their level of service, I took a shot with H&M. Bill called me back promptly and later that afternoon, he appeared with another tech who got the job done in a couple hours, having rerouted the water line through under the sink. They also installed another valve for our main water line in the utility room. Most impressively, their interactions with myself and each other were extremely pleasant in the midst of a stressful experience. I enjoyed cracking a few jokes with them while they worked diligently. My only issue with them is that I called later on to request a written report on their findings for insurance purposes and they never got back to me. But apart from that, I was as happy with their work as I could possibly be. Don't waste your time and money with any other plumbing company. Give these guys a call first and hopefully you'll end up as satisfied as I was.

My boiler decided to quit during an especially cold stretch of weather, leading to frozen pipes. The boiler repair was quick and relatively painless (other than $$$), but then came the need to thaw and repair the frozen baseboard pipes. The luck that seemed to have abandoned me during the boiler failure showed back up as I scrambled to get a tech to come help, calling every business even vaguely associated to plumbing that I could find in the process. H&M happened to be the first that called me back with an opening and not terribly expensive rates (more than understandable considering everyone was having issues due to the cold). Jaime and Jason showed up and were a pleasure to work with and got the job done quickly, coordinating the work between my unit (upstairs with frozen/burst pipes) and my neighbor (downstairs with the rainy consequences of burst pipes). They had obviously been working long days but were still friendly and joking and were answering questions and explaining along the way. It took a couple of trips to get the repairs sorted and in the end I believe I was charged a more than reasonable rate for the time and work performed. Have saved their number and they will be my go-to for future needs as well as my #1 rec to friends.

Called other 4-5 star rated plumbers before getting to H&M. The earliest someone could get us was 3-weeks. Then we called H&M and I’m so happy we did. He was willing to come out that night after hours on a Friday. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgable and quick. He got the repair done and helped us with how we could repair a smaller project on our own and all for a reasonable price. I’m so happy we found them and will look to them for any and al future jobs.

Hands Down, H&M Plumbing are one of the best in quality of work and being thorough. I called multiple places and they all reported: We will fit you in or it will be an after hour call, or schedule 5+ days out. H&M Came through the same day and even fixed an issue i didn't know I had and didn't gouge me on price. I will be using them again, if ever the need arises. Thank You H&M - J.D.

We had a great experience with H&M. We are under contract selling our house. We know doing good work sometimes meaning running behind but Chris came out even a little before the scheduled time...we really appreciate that! He thoroughly inspected our hot water heater and boiler to make sure it's in good working order for the next owner. They do short notice bookings right now instead of months in advance like other companies. And they give a veterans discount. We've had great work performed by both Mike and Chris. Thank you so much.

They are responsive, professional, quick to respond and peace of mind service. Mike installed my new hot water heater as he was quick and worked diligently on it. A hard worker. Chris was patient and answered my questions. I highly recommend their services!

I highly recommend H&M plumbing. Broken water pipe in the wall over New Year’s. I tried about six plumbers in town. The guys at H&M came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and executed the repair. They were friendly and kind, which was wonderful because I was a stressed out homeowner with a problem. The repair was done within an hour. The price couldn’t be beat. I will definitely use them again.

Highly recommended! Called early morning and see if they can change my leaking water heater. Jaime and Jason came out and help me with it. Excellent communication, made a competitive suggestion for me to save money for this project! Quick to respond and goes above and beyond quality of work! I called around town to get a quote but they are the cheapest rate in town for plumbing work! They are knowledgeable on their work, they know exactly what they’re doing, make the job easy, straight to the point and fast! We need these kind of guys now a days. Fast, reliable and dependable!
